Though Android has a much more awesome logo, looking around my train on the way to work it seems there is a ratio of about 5:1 people who have iPhones than Android based smart phones.

How is Android being competitive in the development of smart phone applications? Apart from having a lot cleaner source code and probably a little easy to code than Objective C (these are only my assumptions, try not to flame too hard if you disagree) is there anything Android has OVER Objective C and/or iPhones in general?

The company I work for seems to be focusing on iPhone/iPad apps for the clients we have and it would be great to be able to pitch something to them for Android and have a little WOW factor.

All responses no matter how funny are accepted, but may not be used in my presentation later next week.

Thanks!

Robot.

Found this:

Is kind of interesting but if anyone else has anything else to say that would be much appreciated.
