Firstable, i want to thank you all for the precious informations we found here.
I'm doing the assignement part and i'm a litle confused about my assignment.
I see many times post saying that is recommanded to not change alot in the BDM, to consider it correct since it's not a real life projet, it's an certif exam.
I have considered some weird thinks(the cardinalities essantially) in the BDM as correct, and explain with some text in the assumption text, but even with this it still other information that dosen't fit, and i simply think that it is incorrect, so, in my assumptions i will be defending the BDM for some weird element and accusing it to be wrong for some else.
This can seem not clear, but i intented to not give details, i would love to know what do you think about that ?
Do we have to consider the BDM correct anyway and not touch it?
I also changed cardinality from many to many to one to many. But i justified in my design decisions-why i am making this change. Minor and major are relative terms-what i feel is that if you make some 20% changes or lesser but justify it reasonably.
Thanks you, I see.
I will confess to you that my english is not perfect, when i try to translate "Assumptions" it's redirect me to "hypothesis", since it's is not a requierment to delivery(Class diagram, Component Diagram, Deployement Diagram, Sequence/Collaboration Diagrams, Risk and mitigations, not an assumptions part) can we consider it a free section when we could write all what we need to explain ? Or should i add a note section ?
I have added a notes section as and when required for:
1) Providing info to the evaluator so that he/she can understand what i am talking about
2) Any assumptions i have made with cross references to assumptions section.
3) anything i am omitting because it is too trivial or absolute low level design.
My JAR file was 1.7 MB and i wrote a lot. I provided a lot of extra diagrams and sections also. I had my assignment reviewed by three folks-SCEA Architect, SCEA5 Architect and IT Architect. Got really valuable feedback from them. You don't have to worry what others are saying, if you feel that is a right thing to do and your peer reviews also finds it okay, then go ahead with that.
