Our client a multi-national and highly respected technology solutions company seeks a Java Application Developer with experience of designing, developing and implementing Java / J2EE (enterprise) applications. The successful individual must be passionate about Java / J2EE and have good work experience of developing commercial applications / products.

Your role will involve: Java / J2EE product development, agile development, full product software life-cycle development, requirements analysis, design implementation, testing and documentation.

The successful professional will be working as a key member of a small team in a model driven, iterative development environment using leading edge development techniques.

Essential is the following:

-2+ years Java / J2EE development experience.
-Application/Product development experience.
-Strong software analysis, development and design skills.
-Experience with any from: XML, XSLT, OOD, UML.
-Fluency in business English (written and spoken).
-Relevant computer related degree or HND.

Nice to have (but not essential) is any from:

- Excellent knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.
