I am trying to run a simple test for <c:forEach>

I am getting the following error


Not sure what that means...
I have the jstl.jar and standard.jar in the WEB-INF/lib folder.

My myjsp.jsp is


And ForEach.java is

two questions:
- How does your web.xml look like?
- Are you sure you have downloaded the jstl 1.1 version of the jars?

Yes , i am sure i downloaded the jstl.jar. My cout example worked fine.

the code works fine on my tomcat 5.5 server.

Did you also download the standard.jar ?

The exact file names are :

jstl-api-1.2
jstl-impl-1.2


Don't have anything else in WEB-INF/lib beside this.

you need to download jstl version 1.1 (jstl.jar and standard.jar) for Servlet 2.4 (defined in your web.xml)

hmm I see, that is strange....

just get them from here standard.jar and jstl.jar
