JD, Congrats on getting your book out. I have worked on Swing a long time ago and some of my friends still do. For some reasons they'd hate JavaFx, probbaly with the scripting introduced made them learn a new language. Oracle's stance of doing away with the scripting framework might be a welcome move for many, but what about those who took all the pains of learning the JavaFx Script... What'd you say, Is JavaFx dead?
