Hi, I have installed Hibernate 3.3.1 and struts 1.2 into Eclipse Galileo through j boss from the following site- http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/stable/galileo/. I can create struts project through the plugin ,but i cannot create hibernate project using the hibernate plugin which i have mentioned above... If i try to create hibernate project in hibernate perspective it allows me to create only configuration files like cfg.xml and hbm.xml but not the classes or packages... Can any one help me in this regard...

Welcome to the Ranch!

Please CarefullyChooseOneForum next time. The Ranch Office forum is for questions about this site itself, not for technical questions. We have quite a few other forums for those. In this case the issue seems to be with Eclipse so I'll move this thread to our IDEs forum.

Have you read through the JBoss Tools user guides? They contains many tutorials and should help.

By the way, why not simply do File | New | Class?

If i try to create a java class for my hibernate project i have to add all the jar files this is the first issue and it becomes difficult for me to create the directory structure... Because of this we use plugins right... I am new to these concepts because of this i am getting troubles in dealings with these issues...

Since you are new to it I suggest that you first work through the examples in the JBoss Tools documentation. Once you have done those successfully, you should then be able to apply the knowledge you have gained to your project.
