Since you are fresher, i would advice you to work in android. Also, since Android is built with java language only, you learn more on java. If you are interested in j2ee(Its no more j2ee, its JEE now a days), you can keep learning the technologies related to JEE side by side.. After, say 1.5-2 years you can always make a switch over to JEE project..

As a fresher both the JEE developer and a mobile developer, will be getting almost similar salary. As, the experience grows on, it really depends on the skills that you acquire.. You can get more than a JEE developer, if you are very good in Andriod... Honestly, i don't know about the difference..

My advice is this: do yourself a favor and don't make important decisions (like about your career) based on information obtained from anonymous participants in an online forum, the motives and experience of whom you know nothing about.

Well said. Completely agree.

Any sufficiently advanced technology will be used as a cat toy. And this tiny ad contains a very small cat:
Java file APIs (DOC, XLS, PDF, and many more)
