I have a web service method which returns a user-defined data type which is a subclass of ActionForm. However, every time I try to call the said method via my browser, I always get a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" error. I also tried returning a user-defined data type which is not a subclass of ActionForm and it works fine. Why can't I return a user-defined data type which is a subclass of ActionForm? Is there any rules regarding this?

The ActionForm class is from Struts. I need to extend my bean/ form with ActionForm because my web application UI uses Struts as its framework. My web application UI and web services are under the same project. I am using Axis2 for my web services.
