Disabling a text field by clicking a checkbox

Hi,

I am new to this forum... i want to know how to disable a textfield when i click a check box which is present in the same form.

Please provide a solution....

This is something you'll need JavaScrpt for, not JSP. So this has been moved to the HTML/JavaScript forum.

Please provide a solution....


That's not how things work here. Where is your code? What problems are you having with it?

How far did you code to accomplish this task ? First of all it has nothing to do with JSP. Secondly, you identify the text box with an id and in some sort of javascript, you can disable it as you do in any html page. For your reference, take a look at HTML DOM
