I am planning to take Spring Certification soon. I know that I need to take a class, but besides the class which books would you recommend for the study? Does Pro Spring Integration cover the topics of the certification?

Pro Spring Integration contains some materials about Spring 3 Framework (Core) but it does not cover everything you need for the Spring Certification. In addition, Pro Spring Integration mainly focus on the Spring Integration framework. I believe Spring Certification is focusing on the Core Spring according to SpringSource web site

Henry,
The class that you are required to take before taking the exam covers everything you need for the exam. See my blog post summary.

The Core Spring exam does not cover Spring Integration which is a useful topic in itself.

... and of course, Apress' book "Spring Recipes, 2nd Edition," might be a helpful book for general purpose Spring knowledge...
