I'm trying to have one Ajax call trigger another one, does anyone know how to accomplish this using the <f:ajax> support in JSF 2.0?
I know I've read about this somewhere, I just don't know where

In other words, you want to chain AJAX requests.

AJAX itself is a call to the server, so what you're probably looking for is client-side code. I'm afraid I'm not up on the "ajax" JSF2 tag, since preliminary studies seemed to indicate that RichFaces AJAX support has been doing the same thing somewhat more neatly, and I'm already invested in RichFaces. However, if there's an "oncomplete" event on the AJAX tag (I'm even too lazy to RTFM), that's where I'd invoke the next AJAX request normally.

Can you describe what you're trying to achieve at a high level? Ajax push from server to client?
