Hi,
I wonder what date you think would be the last date to clear Part I and still have a theoretical chance of clearing both Part II and III without having to attend any Oracle course?

Deadlines are great when studying

Regards,
Martin

Martin,
Welcome to CodeRanch!

It depends how much time you can spend in a week and how much you already know. I think it is still possible if you start now. Note that the current understanding is that you just have to submit part 2/3 rather than pass them by the deadline. This means you can re-submit part 2 for $300 after the deadline when you've had more time to do it right. It's an extra $300, but a lot less than the course.

Thank you, Jeanne.

I have now scheduled my Part I exam on 17 May. That will force me to study effectively
If I'm successful I hope to submit the assignment around 20 June, so that there is also time for Part III

Hi Jeanne,

this means that if I pass in part 1 before the deadline (1 august) and if I send part 2/3 before the deadline and if I not pass in part 2, it's possible for me make the part 2/3 again after the deadline without do the course?

thanks,

As per our understanding, if you submit your part 2 and also appear in part 3 before 1st Aug 2011, then this is one of the possibilities:
1) You fail part 2, then you need to re-submit the part 2 assignment again. Appearance in part 3 is not required even if you fail part 2.
This way you are required to pay $300 for resubmission of part 2 assignment and save on the Oracle Training fees.
