Hello,

Our Application supports tomcat as an embedded server. So whenever we are providing two instances of the server the CPU utilization goes to the maximum .So is there any case in which we can reduce the CPU utilization to less then 50%.

Kindly provide the needful solution or help for solving the above case.

Thanks.

Welcome to the JavaRanch, Vaibhur!

I'm afraid that you'll have to provide us with more information. Tomcat CPU overhead is fairly low normally, and a mere 2 instances of Tomcat shouldn't be a strain on any respectable server.

Can you run some sort of profiler that will at least give a hint on what threads are eating up the CPU and whether it's one or both Tomcats that are doing this?

What do you have to say for yourself? Hmmm? Anything? And you call yourself a tiny ad.
