If atleast 5 stickers are allowed then it is good.

why 5? why not 20?
we need to limit it at some point, we (i) chose 3.

Well, i thought 5 is enough since 20 would be too much. As you said "we need to limit it at some point", so why not limit it at 5?

Actually there are 5 things I want to show I Like.

You can use them turn by turn 3 for one week and 2 for another

Three is an excellent number IMO, it forces you to make hard choices.

And it looks good on the UI- not too many nor too less.

Not sufficient for what? I think three is too many. I think we should only be allowed ONE. So how about we average your request of five with mine of one, and just leave it at three?

Generally, if someone wants us to make a change on the Ranch, we would expect them to provide us with a real reason why, beyond "because I want it that way". Sure, YOU think five would be enough, but the next person could say "No, I think it should be seven!", then someone else says "No, seven is too many, I think it should be two".

and in effect that was the discussion we had when selecting the number of bumper stickers.
We had to balance between allowing enough expression without them having too much visual impact.
Some may still prefer none, but three is the agreed middle ground.
At this stage I don't believe we have any intention of changing this number.

First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

Never been a fan of that scene. For some reason, I didn't think it was funny.
