how to load java?

hello friends
can anybody tell me how to load new version of java?i am new to java and need to work on java platform.specially on j2ee platform.please help me step by step approach.secondly i want to know how to set classpath after loading?

If you are new to java, then I would suggest you NOT set a classpath.
