How do i add an applet to a web page

Hi, me again the biggest noob on earth. But anyway i recently create a little game that I would like to put on a web page so the world can see but how do i actually do that??? I know you have to use html tags in some way but what do you put in those tags... The name of the class? so many questions unanswered.. please help

thanks for the help! but one things still bugging me, would I have to put this into a html file then use ftp to put it on a webpage or could I try to upload the file through weebly (a website host) I had my doubts about this idea in the first place I think i got everything right except for the part where I used a domain host. Thanks anyway

Yes, you do need your applet to be embedded in an HTML file via those tags you just read about. As for how you get that HTML file to the server, that's up to you and your hosting company. It has nothing to do with applets at all (except that you'll need to get the applet classes to the server as well).
