I'd like to make a suggestion for a future enhancement to the Ranch. Instead of using email as the mechanism for submitting assignments and getting feedback, would it be possible to create software to maintain a queue of submissions awaiting nitpicking? Something that would allow the nitpickers to see at a glance what items are still pending? I mention this because it seems that with many of the submissions I've made, one of two things happens: either my email winds up in the spam folder and never gets seen in the first place, or else it scrolls off the first screen of emails before the nitpicker has the time to respond to it and it gets forgotten.

I realize this would involve a substantial amount of programming so I don't really expect to see this in time to use it myself... Maybe the forum software could be used for this purpose, though. Is it possible to to modify a forum so that users could only see their own threads? Then each assignment could be submitted as a new topic.
