Dear All,

I want to develop a GUI in Java. But I find Java Swing too cumbersome to do so. I don't know whether there is any latest and more effective Java GUI technology. Can anyone let me know what is latest JAVA technology/tool to develop GUI components?

Regards,
Pankaj

Don't give up on learning Swing. It's really not that hard, and it's well worth learning the basics to understand what's going on (or not) in the window building tools. There are many sources for Swing tutorials free on the web. Search for and try them to find which you can learn from. When you need help, come back here and ask.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
