Hi all,

We have been given access to a tool called VMWare lab manager. Can anyone of you all explain what the tool does.

Specifically my manager wanted to know if we can use this to install and upgrade from our old version of application server to the new version(Websphere application server (WAS)). I was going through the documentation to see if this tool has capability but i found nothing . All i found was we can use it to add JVMs for facilitating virtualization. But i guess that is not what he wants.

So i just wanted an overview of this tool on what it can do and doesn't.

Thanks for any help.
