Passing Object from A.jsp page to B.jsp page in another context  RSS feed

I want to send a Value Object say StudentVO from A.jsp in Application1 to B.jsp in Application2.
Can anyone help me?

How would you want to do this? Web Services, RMI... Doesn't really have much to do with JSP, does it?

get the object attribute values and encode, then pass it as query string. now you form/create the new object and store the values. the other way is to use DB or file who is shared by the two different application.

Is the application on the same server?
You can potentially do a cross context call, using ServletContext.getContext() to obtain a reference to the other web application.

In Tomcat you have to explicitly switch on this feature. See the crossContext attribute on this page: http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/context.html

two applications are running on two different servers.
I think seetharaman has given me the solution thanks seetha....
