You can send a staff member (or the moderator of that forum) a request for a post to be removed and your reasons for wanting this, but to be honest there is no guarantee it will be removed.

. . . and the post will probably have been indexed and recorded elsewhere on the net.

Hello Campbell,

I am wondering have you ever encounter such JR posts on internet which are deleted from JR. I tried to search this couple of times without success. If it does cache, then does that mean admin-private posts also get cached and available on internet.

Thank you.

Google's cache and archive.org

No. Obviously it gets read and cached before it gets deleted. You can't cache something you've never seen.

a solution was suggested above.
Allowing unrestricted deleting of messages caused a variety of unfriendly behavior (and I'm not prepared to go into the details) that it was necessary to stop people from being able to delete posts.

So I had to go and find the thread myself.
In future I suggest not posting sensitive information to public forums.

a piece of advice - Any time you post something on the web, you should be prepared for it to be out there, somewhere, forever.

Mostly because it entertains us. And I make money. If you give me $100 I will delete your post.

Another reason is because some jerks would ask a question and then good, decent, awesome people would take the time to answer and then the jerks would delete the question making the whole thread look weird. And then people who came along later and had the same question wouldn't be able to find it. So, naturally, my knee jerk reaction is to CRUSH! CRUSH THE JERKS.

And make money.

I like money.

Mmmmmmmm ... money.
