Hi,
I have read through most of the topics related this one. But couldn't able to get any help. Here is the requirement... We have generated a server certificate (self-signed)... And the client has sent a request to this server... the client is authenticated... now we need to send a response on to a client specified URL which needs a certficate to be authenticated.... even when we programatically set the SSL factory into the httpsconnection the certificate is not received at the other end... (((HttpsURLConnection) connection).setSSLSocketFactory(sslSocketFactory);)
We found that javax.servlet.request.certificate attribute was not present at all.. any help on this would be appreciated....

regards,
r murthy..

On the server side, to retrieve the client certificate, use this code.

Sorry, javax.security is deprecated. you might need to use java.security.*
