Hi every body.

I am writing a custom JSF component of a treeview
I want to listen to an AJAX request when clicking the tree node..
how t achieve this task, i.e. how to send an ajax request manually to PhaseListener or the custom component..
what parameters do I need (javax.faces.ViewState, javax.faces.partial.render ....);

You might consider using ICEfaces. It's an open source AJAX enabled extension to JSF and it does include a tree component.

If you're committed to writing your own, you could download their tree component code and see how they did it.
