At the end of the JTable, i need to display the total of a column. I want to make other columns of the last row empty. But making other columns empty will through the format exception because of several different formats of their column's class type. So, how to display blank columns whenever required . . .
Thank you,

Let's see what you've been trying, in the form of an SSCCE <-- link

The Table Format Renderers work fine for me when the model contains a null value.

Thanks,

i forgot to use null, .
i am placing empty stirng in table, that's why formatting exceptions are coming.
placing null in table cell solved my problem.

Thanks once again,
