I would like to use the value attribute of a select tag to call a javascript that has two parameters. I cannot figure out how to set up the syntax of the select tag list of values to accomplish this. The select tag is populated using JSTL from an array created in a remote database call.

so what did you try ? paste some code... may be your javascript / jsp would help. Have you tried getting the 'select' value by the 'id' that you have assigned to the select element ?

The value is a single string. Set up some pattern that works with your data and use split to get the two parts. Call your function.
