"Nikitha UK",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Shall i continue Eclipse IDE for AJAX?

There's no reason to change IDEs just because you're using AJAX. You'll be writing a lot more client-side JavaScript code now, but the server-side objects you'll be interacting with will still be Java objects, and Eclipse is an excellent platform for writing those.

I have found the DWR framework very useful in writing AJAX applications for Java. Here is a tutorial that will walk you through how to use this tool.
