Anyone can register the exam 1Z0-852 even those who take the exam first time.

@ayush kulshrestha

No one is sure about this but i think to solve 60 Questions and then Review it, the time should be 180min. What you say???

I am a little confused now. I am just about to register for the OCJP6 and use the 1Z0-851 exam code. I truly believed that the second one listed is the upgrade exam, and if you are first time taker then you cannot take it.

It is indeed 150 minutes. I took the 1Z0-851 on June 13, 2011. My exam had no drag and drop questions; they may have changed that as well. The questions seemed very straight forward. The time allotted was nearly sufficient. The software was really quite nice. It allowed for a right click to put a strikethrough on a answer that you thought not to be correct (just like minesweeper ).

I think that you have to take 1Z0-851 first, before taking 1Z0-852.
Because 1Z0-852 is UPGRADE exam, like patcher in a games.

But, 1Z0-851, is kind of The Games it self.

Sorry if I'm wrong. But I advise you should take 1Z0-851 first.

@Joshie Pramajaya

if you are going to take Upgrade exam means you are already certified in java older version. just like 1.5 or 1.4 or below now you are going to upgrade your certification with java latest version(1.6). That is the 1Z0-852.
