Hello,

Now that Java exams are done at Pearson Vue centers, what is the procedure for getting a voucher?

Do I buy it from Oracle (link) or from Pearson ?

Please provide a link, if you have it.

Thanks.

Hi,

I wrote my SCEA part-1 yesterday and cleared it. Regarding the SCEA Part-2 assignment. I bought the voucher from the promertic center (NIIT Ltd, pune, India). This was advised by the Oracle SCEA, Education Analyst.

I had to send a mail to suncert_ww@oracle.com to request a voucher to allow to get assignment. I have not got any response yet other then a auto reply stating they would get back to me in 5 business days.

As per the http://blogs.oracle.com/certification/entry/0582. you can buy the voucher from personvue. I tried it today but got a mapping error please contact customer support. so gave up. anyway please see the details below for more info.

Starting June 1, 2011, follow the steps below to purchase and submit assignments and essays:

To purchase your assignment or essay:

1.Go to pearsonvue.com/oracle
2.Select 'Schedule a Test'
1.Under Non-Proctored, select 'Master Assignment' to purchase the assignment. (NOTE: this option is not available before June 1)
2.Under Proctored, select the appropriate exam number for your essay. (NOTE: this option is not available before June 1)
3.Follow the instructions in the system to complete your assignment/essay purchase.
4.Upon completing registration, you will be given instructions on how to download your assignment. You will go to a test center to take your essay.
5.Please note that beginning June 1, 2011, you must return your completed assignment and take the essay exam within 6 months of assignment purchase.

To submit your assignment purchased at Prometric:

1.Contact us at suncert_ww@oracle.com to request a voucher that will allow you to submit the assignment.
2.Create a Pearson VUE web account if you do not already have one.
3.Access the assignment online at pearsonvue.com/oracle using test number 1Z0-848 for the Architect assignment and 1Z0-844 for the Developer assignment.
4.Use your voucher code to access one of these tests, which places you into a special form of the assignment where you can upload your completed work.
5.Note that you will not be eligible to register for the essay until you have submitted your assignment.
