Hi,
I am trying to build a jar file using a ant script provided by a vendor and while running the script, I am getting the below connection time out error when it tries to download a jar file.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,
Madhu.

Welcome to the JavaRanch, Madhu!

I just did a quick check and that jar file should be downloadable, so you may have a local network problem.

Hi Tim,
Thank you...

Yes, the Jar is downloadable manually, but not using the script. Also, the issue is only when I am connected to my Company network.

I am not sure, where I need to check the connectivity issue and update the script to work in the Company environment.

Can you please suggest?

Thanks,
Madhu.

Are you behind a proxy? If yes, then take a look at the "Proxies" section in this document http://ant.apache.org/manual/Tasks/get.html

Hi JaiKiran,
Yes, I think I am behind a proxy. I have gone through the link you have shared. But, I didn't see much information (Sorry, I am new to this stuff). Can you suggest the changes required?

Also, If I have to run a java program with the same type of changes, what needs to be done? When I run the program with in our Company network it is failing, but it is working outside of the network.

Thanks,
Madhu.
