Where should I do calculations - In Oracle or Jasper Reports

Here is a theory/design question. I'm creating a Report using Jasper which accesses an Oracle database, on a web app on Weblogic. The report entails doing a number of calculations on the raw data. Here is my question: is it better to have Oracle do the calculations, and send the totals to Jasper to print, or should I send the raw data to Jasper, and let it do the calculations?

Thanks in advance for any input on this subject.
