You have wrong perception in your mind..If you are searching job just for getting 1yrs of experiance then its wrong..your this thinking may show up at the time of giving interview..
So remove this thinking and try your best..you will get the job soon

Totally agree !

Its quite frustrating at times to search for jobs and receive no calls/responses. Don't give up though. Apart from Monster, Times-Job there are lots of sites and Forums (try doing Google) that keep posting of freshers jobs and walk-ins too.. Keep hunting regularly, post your resume on all sites you come across, if Job Description gives any HR contact number - call them up and setup interview date, keep shooting mails to HR/Company Career emails -- that can be found on Company specific sites, talk up with your friends , colleagues, seniors and ask them to forward your resume. And last but not the least - In Interview and Pre-Interview conversation with HR's Always show you are looking for a Long Term Association with the company - the company will be spending time and effort on you to groom you up as per their project requirement and hence would obviously expect you to stay back for longer time. Additionally staying in one company for longer duration has its Own Plus Points - Don’t want to fill this Post with that details..

Hope at least one point helps you out in your job search.

All the best!!

Have you gone over your resume thoroughly? Is it typo-free? Have you updated it with your certifications without using acronyms? Most HR people are only looking for certain words and don't know anything about the jobs they are finding people for. They will not know what a OCPP is, but an Oracle Certified Java Programmer in more impressive. Is your resume in a professional and in an easy to read format? Do you highlight your previous java or oracle experiences? Is your contact information correct? I've heard of skilled applicants not being called back because they forgot to add contact information.

It is important that you make a good impression with your resume. Most employees will spent less than a minute reading a resume before putting it into either the look at again pile or the trash pile.

Just because you were not paid to write code does not mean that you have no experience. I doubt you could have passed the OCJP or PL/SQL exams without writing any code.

Hang in there Aashu, keep updating your resume every so often on the job portals - most companies look for recently updated resumes, even if it means that you have only added a space or a line. Also, it would help if you kept yourself in tune by studying and being prepared for any interviews, even if it is at a short notice, making sure that you are ready for any job opening that comes your way.

So what is the problem ??? 2011 requirements are just started, you've entire year,,you are overreacting like you are 2010 or 2009 passout. Is this really a problem ??? think ?? this post is not for you. The problem will be when after 2011 you wont get any job.best of luck.

First, it is generally a good idea to have a job lined up before you graduate. Second, in the U.S., 2011 graduates already hit the market -- they finish late May, early June time frame.

Although technically less of a problem than someone who has been unable to find a job for a year or more, I don't see how one should not worry about it -- and do something about it.

Hi Henry
In India we've entire year to try for job as fresher even next year's two quarter are included in this mission. Is it possible that everyone get job on time ?? No So if anyone is worried about it then be worried, No one can help you else then yourself.being worry if you get job then it is good.So stop worrying like small baby and be a man or woman.
