International participation - currency conversion?

Given that the SuD will have international participation (at least in Dreamcar), we can easily represent money in a particular currency (depending on the Locale - using the Currency class, NumberFormat, etc). But if the manufacturer is based in Australia and people in South Korea are placing bids, how would we map South Korean currency to Australian dollars for people to "compare" bid prices?

Would this require exchange rates (external server)? Or maybe use only one currency?

For those who have replied to other post of mine, my apologies for not replying - I've been extremely busy. But as usual I appreciate your input.

Thanks.

Do you really want to go into those details? If yes, you would definitely need some external web service to give you the conversion rates. I just mentioned, that internalization of numbers, dates, currencies etc will be taken care but did not provide much details as I myself couldn't decide whether I should consider just one currency or all.

What a relief! I didn't think of putting this as an assumption as I deemed it an important aspect of international audience.

Thanks Rajan.
