Hi all,

I installed apache2 and use mod_proxy to put tomcat7 behind it.

Now I want to enable https connections to Tomcat.

I already enabled the Tomcat ssl connector on port 8443.
But what steps I should take to make apache let tomcat handle ssl connections?

Could find a decent article online explaining this so I hope somebody in here can help.

Thanks a lot in advance and best wishes,

Jochen

EDIT: or perhaps is it better practice to let apache2 handle the SSL connections? but how would that work?
