How to combine a console application with a GUI in netbeans  RSS feed

anyone know how to combine a console application with a GUI in netbeans

What I have done in the past is have a command line switch.

If you want console only just don't call launch(MyApp.class, args) and instead do the processing.

If you want the GUI call the launch and nothing after that in the main method.

I'm sure this is not the only way and may not even be the best way but it works for me.

Subject lines like that only get read by people who are bored and forum moderators looking to improve the quality of postings.

Good subject lines lead to a lot more hits.

this is my 1st time in posting a thread.next time i will use a meaning full heading surely
