Friends,
I am an senior Java/J2ee Developer
In my company i should develop a new system for knowledge management ( from scratch).
Required basic features are below.
1.Document Management ( Store in Database, search, user access levels, workflow, administration, version control, statistics and report generation)
2.Team collaboration ( forum,wiki or blog,multi language support)
3.Should be pluggable for our intranet portal ( J2ee based ) and so on...

Could you please suggest me which framework, tools(open source) to be used? ( Java/J2ee Based tools)
Is there any special/customized framework/platform is available to develop knowledge management systems ?

Please suggest me some technologies.

Many Thanks in advance

check liferay portal and it's knowledge base portlets, liferay is an opensource portal(portlet container) and there is a lot of portlets ready for it, check Knowledge base portlets and SocialOffice portlets of it

I'm developing on liferay already, I develop liferay plugins and find this environment sutable for Enterprise applications, but about knowldge base and socalOffice portlets, I can't tell I used them professionally in a real application but I tested them locally and also take a look into their codes, I learn a lot from their codes, and I've used some of them in my Portlets
and about installing stage. it's so simple and strait forward, just download and deploy them on your liferay instance, after that you can add their portlets into your pages
