I recently joined a new project where they have migrated J2EE1.4 based application to JEE5 based application.
They have lot of MDBs and even now they have do nothing ejbCreate() methods?
Does it impact the MDBs in JEE5 in anyway-what's the pro/cons of this approach. Should we go ahead and remove any life cycle methods from the legacy J2EE1.4 MDBs?
Please advise?

For my next feat, I will require a volunteer from the audience! Perhaps this tiny ad?
