I have to use a class from a third-party library which is not an entity in my object graph.
All other classes are entities. One Entity has a reference to this non-entity
What would be the best strategy to persist the non-entity?
Can I extend the entity by an entity-class?
I have just found out that the non-entity is final

Thanks,

Hans

Hi Marcus,

You are using XML based configuration or Annotation based configuration ?

Annotations,
but I think I have read somewhere, that you can declare third-party classes as entities in the xml description.
I have totally forgotten about this.
Thanks for the hint.
