Hi all,

I passed OCPJP with 75% today. Thanks to Bert and Kathy for writing a very nice book. Thanks to certpal, Mr. Cooray for ExamLab and everyone who helped me in clearing the concepts. Though my score is not very high in percentage but at least I can call myself OCPJP now

It's really difficult to prepare for the exams when you have kids. I spent almost 10 months to prepare for the exam. One thing I would like to mention that real exam was far easier than the mock exams like ExamLab and Practice Exams in B & K book.

50% of the exam questions were PIECE OF CAKE and 50% were REALLY TOUGH.

I booked the exam date in Feb 2011 but when the date was near I practised ExamLab and my initial score was 30%. I never tried ExamLab after that because I was so depressed. Then I extended the exam dates 3-4 times then cancelled the exam from Prometric.

I asked my company to book the exam again from Pearson. Oracle sent me 70 sample questions after the exam booking. I scored 68% in those sample questions and failed because the passing score of sample questions was 71%
I was so scared that I'll fail in the real exam because of the mock tests' result. But in the real exam I scored 75%

One tricky question that I faced in the real exam was something like this:

[DELETED]

I was so confused about this question but at the end I answered B. I am not sure if I was right.

I'm happy to pass the exam in FIRST ATTEMPT. Thanks to all again.

Regards,
Khan

One more thing I would like to mention is lack of time. At the end of first round I had only 3 minutes to review my answers. So be careful when about time management.
