I am using JPA 2 & hibernate 3.6 on jboss 6 for a web application. i have tried to use <jar-file> to deploy model from a jar file. i know this works in .ear apps. but doesn't seem to work in .war apps.

i have tried and failed with the following entries:

externalModel.jar is in WEB_INF/lib

Can someone help me with this? I am begining to believe that <jar-file> cannot be used in .war apps. Am I right?

Please help

Regards,
B Phadnis
