Hello:

In Java 6 is the following object serializable?

private final char[] myChars;

Or should I change the primitive type to Object Character?

Thanks,

Never mind, it is Serializable.

I did a serialization/desirialization to prove it.

Thanks,

If the link works, there is something in the Java™ Language Specification.
