Hi All,

We have 11gR2 RAC database and using the SCAN name. When I try to connect using the SQL plus, it works fine for me. But When i try to connect to the database from the java code, getting the below exception.

java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12519, TNS:no appropriate service handler found

... 7 more

This might sound like a issue at the Database side, but not able to convince the DBA since it is working properly through SQLPLUS.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still getting the same exception . Raised a SR with Oracle . Hoping to get the resolution quickly because it blocks the application from going live.
