Other method's processing is started before the previous method has finished processing.

My bean is regular single threaded.
Thus as per java concepts , if I call two methods in order , the methods should be processed in the sequence.
But I see that my first method his started and before it finishes , the second one is started and after that is finished , the first one is finished.
Can anyone tell me the reason why its happening.

I hope that this doesn't mean that you're attempting to spawn threads in JSF code. That violates the J2EE design standards.

If you have 2 separate JSF requests coming in, they'll normally reference different backing bean instances, unless the bean is application scope.

The bean is session scoped and the function from same bean class is called. Thus the second function called should not start untill the first is completed.
