This week's book giveaway is in the Other Languages forum. We're giving away four copies of Functional Reactive Programming and have Stephen Blackheath and Anthony Jones on-line! See this thread for details.
I have around 6 years of programming experience in C#. Is this book suitable for experienced programmers who know the basics like what is a while loop, for loop etc?
If this is not it, then what is another recommended book?

Yes, it's very well suited for you. It doesn't waste a lot of time on super-basic stuff. I think with your background in C# you'll be the perfect audience for the book!
