I've mostly used Tomcat to test servlets and JSPs. I started a new job and it looks like I can't really use Tomcat as part of my development. The test and production versions of the app run on Web Logic. I know zero about Web Logic. Is it possible to set up a minimal installation of Web Logic as part of a development environment in a manner similar to Tomcat? By that I mean using localhost, coding my files where I want to, with my own tools and then copying them to a special directory in Web Logic to see how it all runs?

There is a blizzard of docs about Web Logic on Google. Could anyone recommend a good tutorial on setting up Web Logic in a development environment to test out JSPs and Servlets?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ravi;

I wouldn't have posted my question to this forum if I hadn't checked out the obvious places for answers first.

I didn't find that documentation useful.

If you aren't RTFMing me, thanks for your intent and time.

Hi George,

You can refer the below link for most commonly used weblogic server configurations.

Hope that helps. :-)
