Not to nervous and worry, try to reinforce your weakness and focus on the concept. Just relax and try the best you can, if you don't make it this time not to disappointed, try a gain next time until you make it, never give up.

Good news is that the Exam seems easier than before due to a change of testing format and change from Oracle, and Pearson Vue.

I've heard many have passed the Exam with good scores in this forum so, you too will pass the exam with a good score.

Congrats in advance...!

Hi!
I'm having my exam on Friday, I don't have a lot of experience in Java.
I've already postponed it twice.
I'm scared as well and I think that there're a lot of people here who passed the test with a good score (we can see that they're proud of that, congrats), because the guys, who failed it, are too ashamed to post their results.... We don't have real statistics and I don't feel good...

@Anna,

That's ok if you don't have a lot of experience in Java, I have seen many with similar background like you have passed the exam with 1st or 2nd or 3rd attempt.

Nothing to ashamed if you failed, try again next time, only knowledge is matter. Those who passed with a good score are well prepared, and perhaps have failed the exam on the 1st or 2nd or 3rd attempt. Again, only knowledge is matter and how you harness those knowledge to the next level.

My recommendation is if you're not ready for the exam DON'T take it unless you have to, take it when you're ready.

Search the forum for tips and how to prepare for the exam, many have posted and given tips on this forum included myself.

Here again: https://coderanch.com/t/538438/sr/certification/passed-SCJP-tips#2442667

Takes many mock exams as possible to test your knowledge and gain more confident, and don't get disappointed if you get a low score. Try to reinforce the weak area until you're 80-100% cleared and ready.

If you have any question feel free to post your question, there are many good ranchers in this forum will give their input and help.

so what's the score, tell us, please...

@Tommy
Thanks a lot for your tips!
Yes, I need this exam to be put on my cv in order to replace a missing experience (as I'm just starting).
Actually, I like Java a lot, but since I've got no time to wait I need to pass it tomorrow (or try to).
I took today 2 exams from ExamLab, not very successful...
I hope for the best
I'll give you a feedback tomorrow

Ciao!

71%!
and I'm very happy!
I didn't expect it at all
May be I'll retake it later, if I have a need or if I decide to take a revenge
But, by now, I'll just put it on my CV
Hurray!

Frankly speaking I was bad at ExamLab.
First exam (#1 at ExamLab that tests your knowledge) was 50%, the second (#2) - less, around 40. I was bad a mocking exams. The rest: I didn't do them. I was taking ExamLab tests just the day before the real exam.
But I still continue reading the books. I want to progress

@Joshie:
Congrats!
Do you want to retake it one day?

Congratulations Anna.

Yes, maybe I'll retake it one day,
btw, there's an upgrade exam, right?
So, I'll just take the upgrade exam.
