Hi I need a confirmation,

I have a web application that uses Javascript in the front end. It does not have any Java applet or java application. Now do I need Java (JRE) in the front end(eirther in Windows or in Internet Explorer or both ) to run such an application?

We have an issue where the browser hangs. Some folks are concentrating on the JRE present on the client machine to correct this problem. This appears to be barking the wrong tree to me.

Thanks

Pallav
