i want to ask a question that what is the main difference between thread,event and actionlistener???

i am confused... we used thread for multiple user in a single application i.e public class Thread extends Runable{
why we extends Runable?

And we used event when action is to be preformed .i.e public class event extends ActionListener{
why we extend ActoinListener?

Please reply me soon ?

Have you reviewed the API?

Try reading Runnable API and ActionListener API to see if that helps. If still confused, describe your confusion and ask another question.
