Well first, this isn't the right forum to post your question it.
There is nothing called J2EE, J2SE and J2ME. They are called JEE, JSE and JME.
I'm pretty sure you can find all what you want if you checked Oracle's web site. http://www.oracle.com/

The "J2" part was Java generation 2 (SE versions 1.2-1.4). It was the first major rework of Java from the original version (1.0-1.1). Other major reworks: Java 5 (1.5), Java 6, and in the future versions 7-8.

With the Java 2 platform the focus was split into 3 areas:

SE
Desktop Java or the standard version this is what you probably want to use to create applets for the webpage or applications for computers.

EE
Server API for server-side programing.

ME
Mobile edition is for cell phones (MIDP+CDLC), or Blueray and set top boxes (CDC+[PBP/PP] +TV extentions), or Smartcard programming (Java Card).
