Hi All,

I have passed OCPJP 1.6(1Z0-851) with 76% today. Thanks to Cathy Siera for scjp books and practice exam book.

Can anyone please tell, how long will it take to receive the certificate? Do I need to submit any documents in online?

Regards,

Sankar. S

I recieved mine today EXACTLY one month after I took my exams, it takes a maximum of 45 days to recieve it. To the best of my knowledge you dont need to submit any documents...I already explained in this forum... Click on the follwing link: Candidate Certification Information

NOTE:

Please allow 48 hours for your exam records to be transferred from Person VUE into the CertView Database

congratulations Mini, i have my exam next week and i am using both the K&B books you are using. i just gave the first full length practice test from the k&b practice exams book and scored 50%. the time limit for that practice exam was 3 hours and i exceeded the time limit as well. so i am in a doubt about my level of preparation. i have already finished the K&B theory book 2 times.

how were you scoring on the practice exams and did you find the practice exams tougher? from what i have told, do you recommend something for me.

This is what a review on Amazon says about the Practice Exams:

The exercise in this book (well, there is only exercise) way way way harder and trickier than the real exam. I scored 58% average in those mock tests but 83% in the real one. It did help me understand much deeper on Core Java and the explanation for each question is clear as well. But don't reply on this book, it wouldn't help you pass the exam if you don't have a study guide in hand.
