Hi. I am currently trying to do a small program where i have some JTextFields, and i want to somehow have an autocompletion feature (the data that i need must be taken from an sql express 2008 server). Does anyone have any idea if such a feature exists in Java? Or any suggestions on how i might do this (it involves thousands of data to search from, so it needs to be efficient).

A quick search gave me these two topics
https://coderanch.com/t/486422/GUI/java/Auto-Complete-JTextField
https://coderanch.com/t/344365/GUI/java/JTextField-automatic-completion

This question would sit better on our UI forums. Moving.
